You may opt to go for products that can be delivered electronically (eBooks, antivirus platforms, etc.) versus physical products that are sent to the customer’s doorstep.

4.       Set up your website.

Making your presence felt through your website is critical to your business. Stay connected with other people and groups with similar interests. With the right keywords and targeted customer base, all related Web material can be linked to your site. Establish your online presence by always keeping active updates on different platforms such as social networking sites, discussion threads and forums. You can also monetize using affiliates to your product.

5.       Gather information.

You want to not only catch the attention of your visitors — you want to catch their information as well! Provide venues where they can share their names and email addresses through free reports, prizes or newsletters. This can be set up using an auto responder. Just make sure not to spam, though, as it can generate a lot of complaints and will leave you with bigger losses if you’re not careful.

Yes you can start a home business free on the internet. 

All you need is an internet connection and a computer available to you.  You don’t even have to own your own computer, although it would be a lot more convient.  Some people start withcomputer time in a internet cafe or a computer at the library.  The next thing you need is good solid information about the basics and you need them to be free.
